Kremer Watercolor - Purple Red (discontinued, 2 left)

The last two remaining half pans of this watercolor pan remain. This was a popular pigment, high-tinting and translucent, natural-like, though it's chroma strength made it evident it was a synthetic organic pigment. 

Kremer no longer sells this pigment due that every synthetic organic pigment's availability is contingent on larger industries aside from the art materials sector. This pigment was highly prized by luthiers and those wanting a close but more permanent tone to alizarin crimson dark.
