Formulated as a light, granulated bovine hide glue, this professional-grade adhesive serves as both a premier bookbinder's glue and a traditional gilder's size. It performs exceptionally well in automated gluing machines, structural spine binding, and casing-in book covers. Due to its rapid tack and tension, however, it is suboptimal for large-area paper mounting; for such extensive applications, a traditional rice or wheat starch paste is highly recommended. Because it is an unrefined natural product, the intrinsic coloration of the glue will naturally fluctuate from batch to batch, meaning the physical granules may exhibit slight visual variations from standard product photography.
