Color Foraging Walk w/ Jason Logan
Saturday November 7th, 10am-12pm
Jason will take you on a walk around the neighborhood to gather color sources for ink. This may include bark, leaves, petals, brick, mica, dirt, oxidized metals, and other city detritus. You will be surprised how many can be found within just a few blocks. He will lead a mobile lecture on how to extract colors for homemade ink. Recommended supplies to bring: tote bag, gloves, clippers, pen+notebook, and a few small containers or bags. Meet at New York Pigment Co. (247 W. 29th St.) at 9:45am so we may leave at 10am sharp! The foraging walk ends back at the shop. **If you also want to take the hands-on workshop, choose the "bundle" option instead!
