A diverse mix of opaque and transparent colors. The bottom row of this set is 13 colors from the pearlescent st. The next row consists of 13 colors from the grey set. The top 2 rows are an assortment of the most vibrant synthetic organic pigments, plus natural carmine. 

The set is a crossover of nuances of pastels and watercolors of the 19th century, the whimsical expressive colors of the 1980's along with neon-pearlescent hues which dominated not only the 1990's but still go strong today. This unique watercolor box reflects the versatility and diversity of the historic and modern cultural metropolis.
