Parchment Glue

Parchment glue used to be an indispensable binding agent in book illumination. The glue is slightly yellowish, somewhat more brittle than isinglass glue and has a lower adhesive strength. The pieces can be crushed as required and dissolved in warm water in the desired concentration.
