Renaissance Polishing Wax

Renaissance polishing wax can be applied to solid surfaces of all kinds, e.g. wood, metal, marble, onyx, mother-of-pearl, stone, ivory, plastic, leather and even paper. In addition to its usual function as a furniture polish, many picture restorers use it to protect varnish-covered oil paints from problems caused by atmospheric changes. The polish also does a good job of reducing the luster of painting varnish. Dirty or fading colors of miniature oil paintings on ivory or leather get new freshness by cleaning with Renaissance. Watercolor painters have found that Renaissance adds a unique shimmer to their artwork while providing it with a protective coating.
