Quinacridone Crimson is an extremely fine pigment that should be handled with care. Like most Quinacridone pigments, it is difficult to wet in aqueous techniques. The hue of this pigment is a strong pink that becomes increasingly bluish in glazed color application. It should be carefully ground into watercolor, tempera or acrylic paints. The pigment can be ground well into oil, but, like most synthetic-organic pigments, dries very slowly.
