Anthraquinone Blue (PB 60) delivers a distinctive dark, reddish-blue tone that sets it apart from green-biased phthalocyanines. This synthetic-organic pigment rivals phthaloblue in performance while offering superior wetting properties, making it exceptionally well-suited for watercolors and aqueous media. Its ease of dispersion ensures smooth application and consistent color mixing, whether you're layering transparent glazes or building depth in your work.

Painter's Note: This is a light, fluffy, high-tinting pigment. When mulling with oil, it takes a little elbow grease to get it going. When you do, the pigment imparts beautiful glazes. The deepness of the highly saturated blue is unlike any other pigment. Although as deep as indigo, it leans warmer to Kremer's genuine indigo (36000).
