UTP® metal interference pigments consist of aluminum flakes coated with silicon oxide, providing Zenexo® effect pigments with a distinct metallic appearance and deep gloss. These pigments offer high hiding power and color intensity, compatible with acrylic, tempera, watercolor, and oil mediums. During application, the pigment particles align with the brush stroke. This is a very light pigment; use caution when opening the packaging and during processing to avoid dusting.

Linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) is the most widely used binder in oil paint. High in unsaturated fatty acids, it forms exceptionally strong, clear films upon drying. To minimize yellowing, it is often mixed with walnut or poppy oil. Drying involves 48 hours of auto-oxidation, followed by up to 10 years of polymerization, ultimately curing into linoxin—a highly stable, durable pigment-binder matrix.

Ultramarine is famous for its characteristic bright blue hue. The pigment is non-toxic, lightfast and suitable for most artistic techniques, but has limited alkali resistance and grays in acidic media. This pigment is the standard grade for oil, glue and lime. It is also suitable for use in acrylic, tempera and watercolor.

Dispersion K 498 is an exceptional pigment acrylic binder, ideal as a foundation for acrylic formulations or as an additive in organo-silicate paints. It delivers the reliable consistency needed for high-quality compositions. This dispersion performs optimally when diluted with water, but requires careful storage. Protect it from frost, do not process below 5°C, and keep it tightly sealed. Shielded from extreme temperatures, it retains full quality for one year.
