For 36 years, artists and conservators flocked to the Kremer Pigments store in New York City for the highest quality materials. When the physical storefront closed, many worried that access to the these essential materials had disappeared.

New York Pigment Co. was founded by Roger Danilo Carmona and Rachael Fischer, the former General Manager and team behind the 29th Street Kremer Pigments NYC location. We created this shop to ensure that the US art conservation and fine art communities maintain direct access to the full Kremer Pigmente catalog, sourced directly from Aichstetten, Germany.

What has changed?

The Company: We are New York Pigment Co. We are not a Kremer Pigmente store but work closely with the Kremer family to offer their pigments, raw materials, and tools.

The Selection: We stock the full range of Kremer Pigments, plus our own curated selection of specialty art materials for artists, conservators, luthiers, woodworkers, dyers, and many other disciplines.

What hasn't changed?

The Quality: The pigments are identical.

The Expertise: The same people who helped you in the Chelsea store are packing your orders and answering your technical questions today.
