Studio Pigment Jaune Soleil Doré

Studio pigments are synthetic organic pigments extended with fillers. These pigments are easy to wet, brilliant and relatively lightfast. They can be used for theater decorations, as reasonably priced studio pigments, for all aqueous binders and oil paints. The pigments can be used for wall paints or loam renderings, but are not stable in lime and cement.

• Chemical description: Pigment Yellow 74 (C.I. 11741; CAS 6358-31-2), Pigment Brown 24 (CAS 68186-90-3) and Pigment White 6 (CAS No. 13463-67-7) fixed on a mineral base.
• Lightfastness - medium: 6 (1 is bad, 8 is best)
• Lightfastness - concentrated: 7 (1 is bad, 8 is best)
• ColorIndex: PY 74.11741, PBr 24
• Suitability: Acrylics, Oil, Tempera, Watercolor / Gouache
